Our Pollywogs camp is a great opportunity for your 8-10 year olds to experience God’s creation in a variety of fun ways. During this three day/ two night camp young river rats learn basic canoe skills while paddling on the Upper Muskingum River. The camp is made to be a first step for younger campers not used to being away from home for long periods. The stretches of river that we traverse are easily manageable in both length and technicality for young paddlers. Pollywogs camp is a good introduction to tent camping, canoeing, fishing, and more. Campers will be given the opportunity to steer a canoe on both lakes and the river; sleep in a tent; fish; see all kinds of wildlife; and fellowship with their leaders, counselors, campers, and most importantly God. Our intention is to use all of these opportunities to instill a growing and lasting spark of love for getting near to God and discovering Him in creation.
